Mr. Berens is a skilled executive that brings more than 30 years of experience in strategy, marketing, sales and engineering to all his endeavors. Most recently Mr. Berens is the founder and CEO of Clear Comfort a sustainable recreational water treatment technology company. Mr. Berens has demonstrated the ability to deliver results for innovative companies looking to address customer requirements in new, emerging and mature markets.
Prior to Clear Comfort, Mr. Berens co-founded Power Tagging a smart grid company and previously was CEO of Privacy Networks. He has also served at Benchmark Storage and 13 years at IBM in various executive roles. Mr. Berens chairs the UCAR Exchange Board, and serves on the Leeds School of Business Customer Experience Certificate Program Advisory Board as previously the executive advisory board of CU Cleantech.
